Bakuchiol (contains 1%) a plant derived retinol alternative. Research has shown the regular use of Bakuchiol to visibly reduce hyperpigmentation and boost collagen production in the skin. Its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties can help to heal, calm, and soothe the skin. Bakuchiol alone or in combination with Salicylic acid can provide significant improvement in acne-affected skin and is well tolerated.

Thyme Extract, two powerful polyphenols, thymol and carvacrol are extracted through a patented process from organic Thyme. Its powerful antioxidant, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties help to reduce inflammation, sebum and redness of the skin.

Alpha Bisabolol is a naturally occurring active ingredient produced from the bark of the candeia tree (also found in German Chamomile). It is well known for helping to soothe the skin. It has been shown to possess anti-inflammatory and wound healing properties as well as antibacterial and anti-fungal properties.

Hemp Seed Oil helps to soothe inflamed skin, repair the skin barrier and protect the lipid barrier from trans-epidermal water loss (TEWL).

Hemisqualane, a 100% Biobased sugarcane-derived emollient, reduces greasiness with a dry oil feel.

Meadowfoam Seed Oil has a unique fatty acid profile that is similar to skin’s natural sebum. It helps to balance the oil production of the skin, reduce redness and protect the skin barrier.

Kalahari Melon (Watermelon) Seed Oil helps to soothe skin while improving elasticity. It helps to reduce TEWL, increase moisture retention and lock moisture in the skin. Its antioxidant properties can help to protect the skin from environmental stress.

Oils for Oily Skin: Studies have shown that those with acne often have low levels of the essential fatty acid Linoleic Acid in their skin, which can lead to skin surface build-up and clogged pores.
